PRESS
DJ 19 has teamed up with JORGE GARCIA from CLUBBERVISION under the guise of JAPAIN – fusing the names of the two countries together in this musical excursion. However, JAPAIN is not just a wry play on words.  Leading magazine, The Economist, has said that Japan is in pain because the world's second-biggest economy is still in a funk - and politics is the source of the problem. Using this name provides an element of sarcasm because DJ 19 thinks despite the bleak outlook, Japan will never die and rise again.  Japan is after all, the Land of the Rising Sun.

JORGE and DJ 19 have already contributed the down tempo tune “Asterisk” to “Essence – Resort Sessions” compilation.  “Cross Towns” is the second track they have produced together, but it was chosen to be the first single with 2 different mixes and an additional remix by Japanese outfit, HIDEOUT.

HIDEOUT is well known as one half of Hot*Dog and HOT STATION. This time he has added a chillhouse vibe to the original.

PRESS
Have made it to the number 50.

Since 1999, we've been largely releasing quality house music in all forms.  Whether it's progressive, breaks, deep, tech, trance, hard house and all that's inbetween, we've had releases from an artist from some corner of this Earth release it on our label.  In those 50 releases, we have discovered, delivered and helped make the occasional producer a future star.

We're celebrating our 50th release by 19BOX's one and only label-boss, DJ 19 in the form of his cool 'Angel Of Mercy' track.  The original is in the style of Lil' Louis' classic 'French Kiss' track and sees a sexy and sultry female vocal pitched up and down for added effect.

Turkish DJ and producer Murat Uncuoglu(aka Murat U, Muncu, Spectraminds) de-livered deep style remix.  He is one of the original pioneers of the modern Turkish club scene and has re-leased many excellent tracks on prestigious labels like VAPOUR, GET PHYSICAL, METHOD, POD RECORDINGS and many others.

LoQuai, who is known to his mum as Konstantin Alt, hails from Germany.  He has done many remixes and original tracks for the likes of labels such as MISTIQUE MUSIC, BAROQUE DIGITAL, INDIGO RECORDS, JETLAG DIGITAL, FUTURE LOVERS, UNDERGROUND CITY MUSIC and so on.  He forms the third prong of this trident that helps us reach half a century in releases.

It took us over 13 years to release 50 releases and we hope to reach our 100th release and be around for that span of time for many more years to come.  Happy 50th, 19OX RECORDINGS!

PRESS
19BOX welcomes the mysterious and hypnotic sounds of up and coming producer, DENIS BABAEV, with his original release “Never Say Love Me”.  He has already delivered 2 remixes on 19BOX RECORDINGS – the first was his remix of VALID EVIDENCE’s “A Dream Within A Dream” and the second was his rework ETHEREAL SOUNDS’ “Sassy Inhabitant”.

DENIS BABAEV is a DJ / producer from Severodonetsk, Ukraine that is slowly but surely making a name for himself in the underground dance music scene.  On top of that, he’s also a very talented designer that has made the absolutely fantastic artwork for this release!

Remix duties come courtesy of GENUINE FAKES; which is the alias of a well known Japanese producer of whom wishes to remain anonymous.  He takes things lounge-y and adds his very own unique style that we have come to love here at 19BOX headquarters.

PRESS
HIDEOUT is up to bat this time on 19BOX RECORDINGS. His work is well known as one half of Hot*Dog and HOT STATION and make his home run swing with the “Pray 4 Japan EP”, following his collaboration with to Sweden’s JELLYMAZE(aka BJORN FOGELBERG) on “Hide And Seek”.

After experiencing the massive earthquake and tsunami that shook Japan on March 11, 2011, HIDEOUT was inspired to produce this track. The Japanese word ‘inori’ means ‘pray’ in English. This tragedy provided a new outlook on life and further inspiration to produce music.  This was first featured on “Essence – Paradise Sessions”. After its appearance there, we decided to release “Inori” as a single EP with remixes. “Love Japanese Beer”, which focuses on the history of Japanese beer, was also featured on “Essence – Resort Sessions”.

Remixes duties come courtesy of BREXIA MUTE from Argentina and HOT STATION. BREXIA MUTE remix has been rebuilt to suit the dancefloor. HOT STATION added funk phenomenon to the original.

This is a testament to the strength of Japanese culture, it’s people and that we don’t give up in the times of duress!!!

PRESS
Our favorite Swede is back on 19BOX RECORDINGS. BJORN FOGELBERG is a music producer, web designer, indie game developer and the former label owner of XAKK RECORDS for his own pro-ductions.  He has released tracks on SYSTEM RECORDINGS , SICK WATONA and of course his very own XAKK RECORDS.  His last single on 19BOX RECORDINGS was “Hide And Seek” - which was a collaboration with HIDEOUT using under JELLYMAZE moniker.

Not to disappoint, we have signed up no less than three mixes.  HOVELMANN is a new comer from Sweden. He has released a few tracks on SYSTEM RECORDINGS and DUMB RECORDS but rest assured he is a producer that you’ll be hearing a lot from in the near future. Hovelmann’s influ-ences come from DJ/producers like DAVID GUETTA, AXWELL and LAIDBACK LUKE.  The reworks he has delivered hit the target right on the mark and deliver the big room club house sound of his influ-ences.

HOT STATION is a collaboration in between label boss DJ 19 (aka AMBROZIA, VALID EVIDENCE, TRANCENTRAL STATION) and HIDE (aka Hot*Dog, HIDEOUT).  Their remix has a unique and kinky soundscape that is sure to please.
