The 32nd release on 19BOX RECORDINGS comes from SOTA S., Originally from Tokyo, Japan; Sota S. is a multi-talented jack-of-many-trades. DJing, production, and designing all fall into his lap with ease. Sota S. is most well- known as an organizer of TORTURE GARDEN JAPAN - which is one of the world’s most famous international fetish parties. On top of that, his 3 very successful labels LOVEHOUSE, YINGYANG and WETWIT keep him busy on many different levels. While he’s a veteran producer, he’s very new to the world of international releases. This is his first EP to hit outside of Japanese shores. The first of two tracks, “You Are Gone” is a vocal oriented tune with 80’s element. The second tune, “I Like It”, is thumping wallop of a track that drives along like Michael Schumacher in an F1 race due to it’s hard house flavour.
On remix duties we are very happy to have roped in Aussie dynamo, MATT ROWAN. His tunes are regularly played by the world’s DJ elite – DAVE SEAMAN, SASHA, JAMES ZABIELLA, JOHN DIGWEED,NICK WARREN, HERNAN CATTANEO, DESYN MASIELLO, LUKE FAIR et. al. He has a style that’s been described as “bass-driven house music”. Matt’s DJ sets and productions incorporate a strong rhythmic and techy feel whilst remaining light hearted and funky. That all said, Matt’s delivered a twist on his better-known style that builds upon trance-y elements and blasts off like a space shuttle. As such, his remix is destined to get any dancefloor moving!

This is the first installment of a remix collection, which was originally taken from their debut album “This Is A Journey Into Sound”.
VALID EVIDENCE(DJ 19 & YU-TA) is pure sea-soaked, sun-stricken, cocktail-laden Balearic grooves. Their tracks have no doubt proven to be the perfect soundtrack to thousands of Ibizian sunrises and chill out sessions. This duo is already known for their remix of the seminal SHAKATAK’s “Night Birds”. De-spite their Balearic influences, this release delivers with remixes that is set to stir up any sophisticated dancefloor.
There’s very little that needs to be explained about NICK HOLDER. He’s a house legend in Canada and was one of that country’s earliest exporters of house music. From deep, to disco, to just straight up funky or jazzy, Mr. Holder has released some of the finest house music there is over the course of the past two decades.
VIRUS J a.k.a. JUSTIN C has stepped up to the plate to deliver a fantastic remix. He is definitely one of the most active Lithuanian DJ/producers out there. His interpretation sees him attaching his trademark trancey/electro elements with the original track’s Japanese vocals.
Finally, the last remixer is one very hot talent. This is first appearance of BLUE SATELLITES aka PHILIP SCHWAN. He’s the American answer to France’s JUSTICE and brings an ED BANGER vibe to his re-work.

19BOX is proud to release several soon-to-be-big tunes by Russian producer DOROHOV. Dorohov isn’t new to 19Box towers. He has already appeared on our sister label, PARK LIMITED MUZIK through his remix of TC Ma-niak with the additional production of SERGE QUE. DOROHOV is well known for his KOALA project in collabora-tion with fellow Russian ANATOLY VORONTSOV. His work has spanned over several top-notch labels like PLATIPUS, LOST LANGUAGE, CUBA, PRESSLAB, DEEPOLOGY DIGITAL and 3BEAT. During this time he collaborated with ALEX LIQUITEK and delivered minimalistic tech-house. DOROHOV also produced “LOOK AT MY SEA” - which features on DJ 19’s latest chillout compilation “Essence - Chillout Sessions“.
GOMEZ aka Anestis Seferiadis to his mum, was born in Athens, Greece in the summer of 1986. In 2000 Gomez moved to Cyprus where he lived for almost 6 years. While he was growing up, he was influenced by ‘70s and ‘80s new wave & rock music. Gradually, his influences caught up to him and he made the natural progression into dance music and DJing. His unique sound and DJ skills made him a crowd favourite, with regular guest spots at parties all around Cyprus. These guest spots have seen him play alongside world-renowned DJ's such as JAMES ZABIELA, DESYN MASIELLO, AUDIOJACK, JONATHAN LISLE, CHRIS FORTIER, DEAN COLEMAN, CHRISTIAN CAMBAS and LEE BURRIDGE just to name a few. GOMEZ has now moved to the San Francisco Bay Area in the United States. This move has seen him join forces with the "Werd"; an up and coming project in San Francisco Bay Area that is destined to exploit this young man’s skills.
