2014 is a special year for us since it marks our 15th birthday. 19BOX(JUKEBOX) RECORDINGS has become one of the best known labels in progressive house, tech house, chillout and good music in general. On top of this, it’s also the 10th anniversary of our sister label, PRAK LIMITED MUZIK. As a result of these very special occasions, we have decided to mark these events with compilations highlighting the best of our releases over the past 15 years. Volume 1 and Volume 3 are catered towards the dancefloor and are mixed by DJ 19, whilst Volume 2 and Volume 4 focus on lounge and downtempo vibes.

Our longtime partner makes his first appearance on 19BOX RECORDINGS. red.tree is the new artist project of William Patrick. William is well known in the Miami scene as the driving force behind parties he has promoted for Rabbit In The Moon, Sasha & Digweed, Josh Wink, Danny Howells, Moby, Union Jack, Terra Ferma, Prodigy, Paul Oakenfold, Anthony Pappa, Dave Seaman, Bjork, Marilyn Manson etc. He describes red.tree’s unique sound as ‘future ancient alien disco’. Regardless, it’s a look back at the past with a hint of the future and it’s a sound we’re very much in tune with here at 19BOX towers.

Timmy Schumacher is a producer from New Zealand who has originally made a name for himself on the breaks scene. His absolutely massive tune ‘What’s Down Low’ was quickly snapped up by the UK’s Aquasky for a release on their PASSENGER RECORDS. Since then, he has been releasing tunes on DJ Icey’s seminal ZONE RECORDS, Cut La Roc’s ROCSTAR RECORDINGS, BASS=WIN and many others.

On remix duties, we have brought on the talents of Phaze Dee. Some may recall him as a remixer of DJ Motive’s ‘Smile’ right here on 19Box. A DJ and producer that hails from Greece, he has been producing remixes and original tracks for such imprints as LIQUID DEEP, LARGE MUSIC, MILK & SUGAR, RHEMI MUSIC and many others. He has taken the original and scaled it back to its raw elements, going deep and sexy.

Our favorite Taiwanese producer as of late, Feo, returns to the PARK LIMITED MUZIK imprint with the somewhat-ironically titled ‘Come Back’. This is his second release on the label after having released his debut original track ‘Division’. Assistant production comes courtesy of resident 19BOX producers Hot Station aka DJ 19 & Hideout. As a result, it’s a nice deep tune with an atmospheric soundscape that’s sure to make you want to close your eyes and sway without a worry in the world! On the remix tip we bring you the sounds of Greece deep house producer Pansil from Athens.

Our favorite Taiwanese producer as of late, Feo, returns to the PARK LIMITED MUZIK imprint with the somewhat-ironically titled ‘Come Back’. This is his second release on the label after having released his debut original track ‘Division’. The Original mix features deep synth tones that could easily be an ambient track, if it weren’t for the throbbing sub bassline and jacking house beats that are featured underneath. Assistant production comes courtesy of resident 19BOX producers Hot Station aka DJ 19 & Hideout. As a result, it’s a nice deep tune with an atmospheric soundscape that’s sure to make you want to close your eyes and sway without a worry in the world!

On the remix tip we bring you the sounds of Greece deep house producer Pansil from Athens. He has been releasing his deep sounds on labels such as THE SOUND OF EVERYTHING DEEP, GROUPER RECORDINGS and so forth. His musical journey began at the age of four, when he began learning classical piano. As a result of his classical training, he’s added an even deeper element to the original track with a piano line that rolls over top.

DEEP SPACEY CHILLOUT BREAKS

The deep spacey chill breaks sound of ‘Yearn 4 Luv’ from Definition Of Affranchise is next up on 19BOX RECORDINGS. This guise consists of DJ 19 and Bluesparkle. ‘Yearn 4 Luv’ is their first single release and features a pitched down female Chinese voice laden with acid rhythms that’s driven by a stomping breakbeat. Slowly but surely, it builds layer upon layer into a sonic maelstrom. On remix duty 19BOX welcomes Digital Department from Russia.
